OPEN SUBMISSIONS: The Sirens Call – Issue 37 ‘6th Annual Women in Horror Edition’ | #horror #WiHM @Sirens_Call

Sirens Call Publications is please to announce its next open call…

6th Annual Women in Horror Month Issue

eZine_Submission_ImageIt’s that time of the year again, ladies! You guessed it: Women in Horror Month is almost upon us, and as usual, we’re dedicating our February eZine to women who write horror!

For this call, your piece can be creepy, sullen, emotive, freaky, elegant, bizarre, have a dark-humor edge to it, or simply be flat out scary as hell!

The basic rules:

  • You must be a woman for acceptance to this issue. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • The piece must be primarily Dark Fiction or Horror oriented. Horror/Sci-Fi works; Sci-Fi/Horror does not.
  • Write the prose well – ’nuff said.
  • Don’t break our set-in-stone taboos – NO pedophilia, NO bestiality, and NO descriptive rape scenarios

Let’s kick this one in the sack, ladies, and show the world what the women authors, poets and scribes of horror can really do in our 6th Annual Women in Horror Month issue!!
