OPEN SUBMISSION: The Sirens Call – Issue #30 ‘Death in All Its Glory!’

Sirens Call Publications is pleased to announce the open call for the 30th issue of The Sirens Call

For this issue, we’re looking for your best horror stories falling under the theme of

Death in All Its Glory

As is our custom at SCP, we’re celebrating the end of the year by honoring its passing!

For the December issue of The Sirens Call eZine, we’re looking for stories, prose, and poetry of death. How you achieve death in your tale is entirely up to you provided it fits into the horror genre.

We welcome works that are: creepy, sullen, emotive, freaky, humorous, elegant, bizarre; or just flat out scary as hell.

Four basic rules:

  • write the piece well
  • make sure it involves death
  • the work must fit into the horror genre in some regard
  • don’t break our set-in-stone taboos – NO pedophilia, NO bestiality, and NO descriptive rape scenarios

Let death shine, and help 2016 come to a close with a healthy dose of righteous dread!
